About Tashina
I offer hand-made custom wedding gowns made from new & re-purposed materials. My gowns are the perfect pairing for the unique + vintage-loving bride.
Me: I am always creating. When I’m not sketching designs, sewing, or crafting. I’m challenging myself with fashion shoots, re-decorating spaces and perfecting my cooking/baking game. And I will never turn down a good adventure.
When I was 16, I started in the alterations department at a bridal salon. I learned the ins-and-outs of bridal gowns and dealing with clients. I grew up sewing (taught by my mother who dressed us in garments she made) and had stitched countless outfits and prom dresses. over the years, I worked in various bridal salons buying & selling gowns, managing/working in clothing boutiques and styling. And as time passed, more of my friends got married and they all started asking me to make their gowns. While doing that, I realized I really LOVED working closely with my brides to create custom gowns. Throughout the process, the gowns become my little masterpieces. And it is such a pleasure to see them adorned by my gorgeous brides.
